发电机组机房的设计初衷，是为了将机组置于机房保护之内，防止阳光暴晒和雨水、风沙、烟尘等对飞机大战的侵蚀，设计机房时，应综合考虑机组使用现场对噪声的要求、震动对周围环境的影响，新风进风、热风出风、排烟面积和工作人员为机组进行检修所需空间等因素。

机房设计的好坏，直接影响到机组是否能够正常稳定的长期运行、是否能满足周围环境的噪声要求、是否能方便的检修发电机组等问题。所以设计一个合理的机房，对机组而言是很有必要的。

在进行机房规划、布置、设计和安装之前，应先确认所需发电机组的型号、控制系统和配电装置的尺寸，然后通过厂家的使用说明书，详细了解了其安装工程的要求。如果安装现场条件无法满足机组安装工程的要求或有困难和疑问时，应主动向厂家咨询，解决技术上的具体问题。

Before planning, arranging, designing, and installing the computer room, it is necessary to confirm the model of the required generator set, the size of the control system and distribution device, and then thoroughly understand the installation requirements through the manufacturer's user manual. If the installation site conditions cannot meet the requirements of the unit installation project or there are difficulties and doubts, the manufacturer should be consulted proactively to solve specific technical problems.

即使是最基本的机房也必须具备以下条件：混凝土地台、进风百叶窗、排风百叶窗、排烟口、排烟消声器、排烟弯头、防振及膨胀排气接管、吊码弹簧等；与机组关系密切的油箱、水箱、进排风机、电池、控制屏、配电屏和空气开关屏等辅助设备也应设在机房内或者机房附件。
